Barbara Sax

Barbara is an award-winning artist and teacher with over 40 years of experience. She taught art in Roseland, Maplewood and Livingston public schools and taught art to older adults at Cranes Mill in West Caldwell and other Livingston venues. Barbara helped develop and implement diversity projects and classes for the disabled for the YMCA and worked with the Livingston Youth and Community Services (LYCS) for eight years. A former docent at the Montclair Art Museum, she presently serves as the board president of the Arts Council of Livingston. Barbara has a BA and MA in education from Montclair State University.

Stacey Laken

Stacey’s design background influences her artwork through her keen use of color and composition. She has taught art programs at fine arts summer camps and after-school programs for ages 5-16 for more than 30 years. She continues to actively participate in art shows in Livingston through the Livingston Art Association and Arts Council. Stacey earned a BFA in fashion design from Washington University.

Julia Danzeisen

Julia is a detail-oriented illustrator and instructor with a decade of experience in visual art with proficiency in character design, color theory and visual development. She has taught in Hazleton, PA elementary and middle schools and has been an art instructor for the Hazleton Art League. Julia has her BFA in illustration and animation from Montclair State University. She is currently an art teacher at a local charter school.

Rob Barling

Rob is a graphic artist, character designer, and concept and story artist skilled in creating original narrative-driven thumbnails, storyboards, and visual illustrations. He teaches media production (photography, videography, graphic design, digital art) at Seton Hall Preparatory School in West Orange and taught in Livingston public schools. Rob has a BFA in animation and illustration from Montclair State University and is working towards an MFA in animation and visual effects from the Academy of Arts University.
